So I got this friend that I used to work with who’s basically being bullied by 3 guys at the job.
They did the same thing to me but I was too scared to do anything since they knew my address so I didn’t want them to come over but I know they’re all talk about that but didn’t want to risk anything. The guys got 1 warning out of 2 to get fired. The guy told a manager and the manager told HR and they said it’s he say she say even though he had evidence it happened. Yesterday I was talking to him and said I’ll go to the store to talk to the store director because he’s the top guy. I told my parents and they said don’t do it I’d just be dragging myself back into the whole situation that I left the job to get out of. I’ve told the friend to quit, change locations (since there’s 3 within a 10 mile distance from each other), come to my job. He keeps saying “idk this place is so much closer”

It's commendable that you want to help your friend who is being bullied, while also being mindful of not getting too involved. Here are some suggestions:
1. Encourage your friend to speak up: Let your friend know that he has the right to speak up against the bullying and harassment. Encourage him to document incidents and report them to HR or a supervisor. If he feels uncomfortable doing so, suggest that he speak to a coworker he trusts who can escalate the issue on his behalf.
2. Offer emotional support: Being bullied can be emotionally draining and traumatic. Offer your friend emotional support by listening to him, validating his feelings, and offering words of encouragement.
3. Suggest resources: There are resources available to help people who are being bullied or harassed at work. Suggest that your friend reach out to an employee assistance program, a therapist, or a support group.
4. Respect your own boundaries: It's important to respect your own boundaries and not involve yourself in a way that puts you at risk. If you feel uncomfortable going to the store director or getting too involved, communicate this to your friend and offer alternative ways to help.
Remember that it's ultimately up to your friend to decide how to handle the situation. Be supportive and offer suggestions, but also respect his decisions and boundaries.
