Am I wrong for considering not going?

So my sister called me saying she needs to borrow my car for something she is doing for the girls at her school. She doesn’t think her car will make it. I had plans this weekend though. I planned them weeks ahead. And I also have to come back up here. It’s a 40 minute drive each way so either way if I come home I won’t be able to go back. Now my grandma’s making me feel bad because I don’t want to go home and cancel my plans. I don't know what to do.

Well your sister could find some where to stay over for the weekend, and you could drop her off and pick her up.

Find a solution that works for both of you, that's what I do with family. Don't just think about the problem, think of the best solution for both of you. That way, none of you are being selfish about the situation.

Instead of thinking who is the bad guy, think of a solution that help everyone involved. You and your sister, grandma, should sit down and all talk and come up with plan, that everyone is happy with.

No, you are not. You already have plans, and it's not your fault that your sister didn't plan ahead. She could find another way if she really wanted to, and is extremely entitled for her to expect you to drop your plans for her.
