Physically I give homeless money but on the regular I give people advice, it makes me feel good at the moment but I realized not too long ago that people feed of my positive energy, they leave all happy when they put all the negativity on me and in the long run I feel the negative effects of everything they fed me

A ladyfriend of mine is going through depression right now. She's been in AA and now she's found religion so I've been talking to her about faith. She actually a very strong person. But I think recent events in her life (her daughter growing up and moving out and her marriage ending) has sent her into a spiral. And I think it's given her self doubt.

An elderly woman got off the bus stop and coincidentally she saw me pass by. She had a lot of grocery bags and even though the distance to cover wasn't much, it would have been really difficult to walk with that to her destination. She requested me to help her. I did it and am glad that she was relieved. Who knows how daunting of a task it was for her and how much she might have been panicking inside if she'll be able to complete it.
