How do you feel when friends don't like your posts?

I mean close friends... I really like sharing new things on social media and daily posts. But I realize that my close friends do not like my posts. Should I tell them that I feel bad about it. So, how do you feel when your friends don't like your posts? Am I wrong?

I hate to say it but that's what true friends are for. Is honesty and there unconditional love. And just because you see or feel a certain way about something doesn't mean that you're wrong it just means they're there to keep you in check and balance you can feel any way you want to sometimes we have to laugh at it sometimes we have to cry with LOL sometimes we won't say anything sometimes we will but that's what true friends are for to keep us in check and balance sometimes we have to laugh at ourselves when others might be laughing at us or with us those are good days I mean I would thank you friends for being there for you remember we all have eyes we all can hear we all can smell we all can touch individually so we see and we feel everything different from each other and that's okay doesn't mean that any of us are right or wrong it means that you are experiencing something all different and there's something great about that so I would be happy that they are in your circle they give you that time and they give you their words so maybe one day you should have a little party thinking about for being there for you whether they agree with you or not

I don't use social media. Even if I did I wouldn't notice if anyone liked what I said or not. It's a piece of software... Someone incrementing an integer in a database has no impact on me. If they see what I wrote, and it sparks an interesting conversation between the two of us then that interaction would be relevant. You'd have to be a complete narcissistic loser to care if someone thumbed up your post or gave you a smile face. That's some pathetic shit.

That's like being in kindergarten and getting a star on your paper or whatever. Even back then that meant nothing to me, but surely you've evolved as a person since you were 5 years old right?

Maybe they don’t see your posts. Sometimes I don’t see my friends posts until months later and I like them then and comment lol.


My current best friend never likes or comments on my posts. I’m suuuuuuuureeeee she doesn’t see them. I know she loves me.



On the other hand some people are shady. I could write a book about my shady ex best friend…but knowing her she definitely just didn’t like mine because she was jealous and competitive the entire time.


Basically don’t put too much emphasis on social media. But if you feel insecure about a friendship
maybe they’ve done something in real life that’s made you doubt the friendship.

I don't like their posts so I cannot expect them to like my posts. I'm a likeable person and if I put myself out there I'm sure I would have tons of friends but I value privacy and alone time too much to be popular and perpetually relevant.

Why the fuck should that matter?

Friends are not family. OK most Americans don't even know their own fathers or what a "family" actually is, hence the whole "friends forever!" dynamic.

But a "friend" is not some pet or blind follower. They are their own person with their own interests : some of which match yours.

Don't like them as in criticize them, or dont like them as in 👍. If the latter, then I'd recommend you take a moment, reread your post, consider your age, then have a healthy moment where you laugh at yourself.

I barely post on Instagram or other social media so when I do I don't really care that my friends don't like it. I'm guessing algorithm doesn't favor the ones barely posts and it's not like I like every single post of all my friends.
