I do.
Not really.
Sadly, my grandma passed away :(

I wish had met her. She died when I was about 2. From the stories I have heard from my Mom (RIP) she smoked cigars and was a tough cookie. I mean, she was nice--but she expected a lot from her kids, from what I understand. Example: She'd spit on the ground (or floor of the house) and told my mother at age 6, to make beans for dinner, before that spit dried. And my Mom learned!
My maternal grandma was my favorite! And secretly I think I was her favorite grandchild. (She had 7) I only saw her every few years, cuz she lived far away in another country, but we were always close kindred souls. We just got each other. When I was small, she used to make me laugh by popping her dentures out!🤪 She was a walker, and starting at 6yo she would take me out walking and on public transit. I think she was trying to exhaust me, as we would travel great distances all over the city. Eventually, we would get home and I would crash out. I NEVER exercised SO MUCH!😂
I miss her TERRIBLY!
Thank you for MHG!
Both of my paternal grand ma and maternal grand ma passed away few years. My maternal grand ma was a gem and a cool person. She belonged to a ultra wealthy family. She never got angry. She never worked hard in her life. My paternal grand ma was a rude person. Though both of them loved me.
My grandma on my mom's side is absolutely the coolest. I'll visit her in Czechia and she'll be the first to want to take me out to eat and drink. Also supports my lifestyle and choices in such a cool way.
My paternal grandma is a bit more conservative, but she's good at keeping certain things to herself in favor of just keeping the peace. She's the one who will force feed you every time you visit even if you've already eaten.

One of my grandmas, who passed away in the late 1970s, drove a 1970 Dodge Challenger, with a Kent cigarette hanging out of her mouth.
Yeah, she was cool.
So was my "Norman Rockwell-esque" other grandma, who never drove a car, but could cook the best food I've ever had.
Grandmas rock!
My grandmothers were both cool in different ways. My dad's mum was fun with a great sense of humour towards everyone except my grandad. Their relationship was "complicated". Like North and South Korea.
Mum's mum was part Terminator, part comedian. It was confusing but lots of funny stories
My family is complicated. I have never met my father or his side of the family. I haven't seen my grandmother on my mother's side in maybe 13 years now.
I was mabye 10 or 11 years ear old the last them I saw her. A lot has changed obviously. I can't remember why we stopped speaking. I tried reaching out to her but no one in my extended family has had contact with her or seen her in years apparently 😔
I miss my grandma. She used to make the best homemade vegetable soup, and the most delicious chocolate chip cookies in the world.
Now I'm all alone in the world ::Sighs:: Now, I need a cookie!
My grandma's passed away, but they were both cool Ladies with Loving Hearts
Both my grandmother's were cool when I was younger. They both passed away before I reached my teen age years
I have no living ancestors, but from what I gather from the music they listened to all of my grandparents were cool.
Both of my grandma's have been dead for at least 15 years. So ya, I'd say they definitely ain't warm.
Very cool. she's been in the ground for the whole of this century.
my greatgrandma was the best
Not any more, she's dead.
