Is it hard to be "yourself" around a guy you like or don't?

They show their true selfs to the guy they find worthless but not the guy they deify.
Why? Because they know they aren't worthy either.
All because some girl and guy thousands of years ago said these physical traits matter but they fucking don't.

I can be myself around a guy I like if I'm confident he likes me. If it is somebody I'm not sure will like me, or I have to act a certain way to keep him, I might be shy.

It does with me to some extent

I'm not much of an extrovert & I have noticed some girls who I interact with either (cashiers, waitresses, classmates, younger teachers)

That over over time the more they see me the more irritated they become of me & when we DID talk they had a frown most of the time or answered to me in quick response

It’s hard for me to be myself around a guy that I like and find attractive. If I don’t like the guy or don’t find him attractive then I can be myself much easier.
