How to spot if someone is good at lying?

This is a odd question but, there's a friend of mine who always says something but then somehow convinces me that it is real. My friend is also a fast thinker so they'll say something believable right away. But most of the time I think she is lying but I can't tell.

Has she ever contradicted herself? I heard that there's psychological signs of someone lying, for example constantly looking left I think, there's also another where it's said that a lot of the times when people tell the truth they use their hands as they talk but I think the best way to tell if the person is a liar is bring up something you suspect is a lie from a very long time ago and see if they remember, but not directly so say it like one time someone told me _________ if they are telling the truth they would remember that truth and say "that was me" normally people forget their lies so they give out the real truth when they forget that "truth" they told you.
