Bro, I have similarly shitty circumstances, however my parents and family are all dead now. Take it from me when I say you will never get what you want from her. She had a choice to make and she chose to please herself. You can choose to forgive and reach out but brave yourself for silence or outright rejection. You are older now and your own man. Take comfort that you are no longer that scared, confused, hurt, little kid. If you reach out, do it as an adult (if that makes sense) and don't give her power over you.
