So most of the time I wanna meet up with people (some I know from uni, some from old workplaces, online connections) for a drink/hiking/dinner etc, they reply pretty positively, like "Yea would love to" but then always postpone it or cancel it.
to make it clear, I dont text people constantly, I do watch out to not become annoying, but I seem to do something wrong.
I am open minded, can talk freely about a lot of stuff, can be emphatic, I am no self entitled a**hole.
Though I have always had issues to get friends since I am shy and I got bullied, talking with 1 or 2 people is no issue to me but when its a group its harder.
Now especially as an adult who is close to finishing uni (mostly work from home, assignments, no courses) I think its even harder to make friends, or even have anyone to talk to about random stuff, like movies or travelling or so. Just feel freakin lonely

The vast majority of people don't value friendship for the sake of friendship. They look to see what do you have that they can use or who do you know that they are impressed by & that sort of thing. I'd rather have 1 real friend than 100,000 fake friends. When you're in school it seems like making friends is easy but I think it's just that people try harder to fake it in school or aren't even aware when they're faking it maybe. Things aren't going to get easier for you as you leave school.
Focus on making your life the best you can make it. Build yourself up. This will pay off in a lot of ways! Check out my mytakes.
If your making plans and constantly being stood up. The people your trying to befriend don’t value your time. I find people use the word “busy” for many things. But in truth people will always find time to do what they want.
I suggest broadening your pool of friends. You may not be as social but you have to get out there and make new bonds. People grow apart it’s normal. Find people you relate with and make the step. Get out of your comfort zone a bit.
