What do you mean by “brighter”? Brighter as in intelligent, or as in looks more cheerful?

What does someone being unattractive have to do with their success? I highly doubt your career is going to get affected because of the way you look. I’m sure you aren’t as bad looking as you think you are. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Is this related to romantic relationships? Or friendships? Your question is so vague. Please elaborate a bit more.

I know ugly and intelligent people and they get treated the same way that very pretty girls get treated if they are physically fit and just have an unpleasant face.

I find people who aren’t naturally beautiful and have to work hard to look good tend to be more judgmental of those who look better or worse then them because they base their social value on superficial traits they had to work hard to cultivate.
