I'd say a lot of the people out there who believe they're ugly are just being a realist or realistic about the truth. I wouldn't say they're being negative... just critical. I wouldn't say it's mental illness until it meets the same criteria that it takes to be an alcoholic... it's a problem only when it negatively affects them or others. If you enjoy tossing a few back and sniffing a line off a hooker's butthole every now and then... all is well that ends well.
