I know a married couple but I haven't seen them in years. The husband decided that he wanted to be a woman and went through the whole transition process in his 40s. His wife supported his decision and they are still married. He's tall and slender and doesn't make a very attractive woman, but he's low key and doesn't broadcast his trans-ness. He changed his name to Robin and just wants to pass as a woman. They are both really cool people.

I now understand that he regrets his decision. Transitioning didn't turn him into a woman, as promised. He has to continue taking drugs. I think he has pain and physical problems.

I knew another fairly young guy named Conrad, maybe in his mid to late 20s, who was super cool. I later heard that he is a trans-man. He's short so it makes sense. I have no idea what procedures he went through or when he started them. Obviously he had his breasts removed. But he never let on that he was trans. As far as I knew, he was a cool dude. He's a super talented acoustic and electric cellist. He backed me up one time on the song Stand By Me by Ben E. King. He's also an expert sound man for stage bands.

I don't know if I'd consider them a friend more than a coworker, but all they talk about is being trans or inject it in there even when it's not a topic of discussion. Obviously, this isn't every trans person but that's all this mf does and it's annoying because honestly none of us really care. It's like saying you have a dog, it's cool, but the more you talk about it or inject it into a convo that had nothing to do with it the more annoying it is.

No, but one of my old basketball teammates was trans and she was the nicest person ever. She’s doing pretty well for herself now. Last year she walked in New York fashion week and this year she’s been working with a bunch of other social media stars and got invited to go to a few influencer events hosted by Forever 21.

I once became a very good friends with an amazing girl from Philippines when I had a summer trip. Later on, I found out she wasn’t always a girl. Didn’t make any difference to me. She was a very nice person.

yeah but we had a falling out regarding politics and those she looked up to. she refused to see that those she idolized despised her and were known liars. I was trying to show her how Republicans wants people like her dead... I reached out to her to apologize for unrelated issues... she blocked me. so, that was that.

no. but i used to have a trans coworker. once we came back from the pandemic, they suddenly turned trans. nothing against them at all. but they did cause a LOT of drama in the work place for some reason, just with the personality they had.
