First cousin relationships are not prohibited by Biblical law. Socially, the problem with first cousin relationships come about when the relation does not survive. Will you feel comfortable attending family gathering/reunion events if your cousin is there with his new girlfriend/wife? When you get in a relationship with someone else, will you tell them about your history with your cousin (making your new partner comfortable at family events) or keep it hidden (taking the risk that your partner will learn from someone else and think that you are hiding something from him. Will other female relatives assume that you should not be trusted to be alone with their man?

The problems with cousin marriages are the social repercussions for you and the family, not the legal or genetic concerns.

Also, "I've seen Indians say" sounds like you made that part up to cover your desire for incest. And Native Americans or First Nations is more appropriate. Better yet, if you have the actual name of the tribe they may be associated with, that's better than using an archaic term.
