Every one is so sour on this! Kids are great amazing but yes often are so much work and if your not a good couple working together then it breaks apart!

For us we became an open couple and kinda loving it now. My wife hated her body which did not really change any after. Would never believe me after I told her that she was great looked amazing in her old dress...

This is super hard for me to answer since I got pregnant just a few months into dating my husband so there wasn't really much time before we had kids.

But having kids truly brought us together and made us realize how much we love and care about each other. It built the relationship up and made it stronger.

The only negative thing I have to say is that after having a kid with someone there is a lot of stress and it makes their true colors really show. Without kids it's hard to see all those (good and bad) sides of your partner.

by the way everyone saying less time together and less sex are full of shit. Everytime after having a baby I spend more and more time being with my husband and also having sex. Like lets be real if y'all wanted it youd make time for it.

Our priorities changed, the children had to come first, but we still made sure to make time for ourselves as a couple. Sure it was very tiring, and we had to get sleep when we could, but we never lost our love for each other and we found time for intimacy. But my husband did stop working to look after them, I had the better paid job so it made sense. I would hate to think how difficult it would have been if we both needed to keep working. Twenty years on and they have grown up into teenagers but it still works as it did when we first married.

In some ways it makes everything harder. That little baby takes lot of time and energy. Sex is no longer spontaneous and it is less frequent. On the other hand having a baby together is like a journey we get to take together. We both take part in shaping this new life

Your life's focus changes completely. Time is spent with the children, less time for things you enjoyed before, less intimate time but I wouldn't change it for anything. I loved raising my kids and would do it all over again.
