What’s a toxic trait/behavior you noticed from a family member?

I wouldn't call any of my family "toxic". They are human and flawed. But I consider "toxic" to be deliberately malicious or hurtful acts because you are toxic or serious f***ed up human being. And that wouldn't be ANY of my family.

when your best is never good enough, when they're always talking down to you and making you feel small and or stupid... and yet you're their go to person when they're hurt, sick etc.

Narcissism, drama, gossiping, and lying. Different family members, not just one.

Gossiping is a huge on in mine as well. I hate being a part of it.

Yeah same here. I remember even back in my high school year, the girl group I was in would constantly talk behind other girl’s back…and I felt so guilty being there. I would act like I wasn’t hearing them and wouldn’t participate in it. And what’s sad is that the girls that they would talk shit about would act all friendly and cutesy with
