What kinds of things did your mother or father say when you got in trouble with her/him?

Her favorite was to end everything with "I've never heard anything like it!" whenever I gave an excuse for something I did. "Why are your clothes all over the floor instead of being put in your laundry hamper?" "Some lady came in my room ma and pulled all my stuff out of the hamper and threw it all over the floor. Then she ran out of the room laughing." "Oh yeah right! And the next thing you will tell me is that she wrinkled up all your ironed clothes that I just ironed for you. I've never heard anything like it!"

My mother always said "Wait til your father gets home!" My father would typically have a sit-down talk with me... using diplomacy to get me to admit whatever I did was wrong and I won't do it again.

Not much I very rarely got in trouble. My parents got lucky (unlucky for me) for my major teen years 16 - 21 for getting in trouble.

My parents really did not have many sayings that they used all the time. They would tell me what to do and I knew that i better do it.
