A friend stopped talking to me for this?

So I have been friends with a woman in my job for 7 months now. We have gone out for coffee and she has invited me to her home also. We would text most days too. She is a very religious lady and last week I told her that I did not believe in God and that I was an atheist. It has now been a week and she has not spoken to me at all. Is this common or normal to stop being friends with someone over this?

Yo that's wack of your friend to just suddenly cut you off like that over some religious differences. Like y'all been cool for months now kickin it, what happened to that kinda loyalty?

I get faith is important to some, but real friends can accept each other even when they don't see eye to eye on everything, feel me? Like it ain't like you was tryna diss her beliefs or nothin, just keepin it real where you're at.

If it was me I'd try hitting her up one more time, just be like "yo what's good? I thought we was cool past all that, lemme know if I did something wrong cuz I'm lost over here."

Try to at least get some closure instead of leavin you hangin like that. But if she still on some bs then forget it, she ain't a real one. Don't let it get you down though, plenty more dope chicks out here who will rock with you regardless.

not normal because usualy religious people will stretch the friendship in the hope you will follow "our" example. i guess she just decided not to influence you, and we must avoid influence of atheists so we flee the "sin of disbelief" not the words. for anybody not specifically you personally.
