Hey guys hilarious update 😂 so it turns out this wasn’t my brother in laws dad. It was someone by the exact same name on Facebook. I didn’t look at his profile closely cuz I just thought it was him when I accepted it.
Blocked this person. All good 😂

I did something like that, once. I wanted to call up a friend of mine to wish her a happy b-day and asked the operator for Patty's number. She gave it to me and, although it didn't sound right, I made the call and wished her a happy b-day only to find out, it's the right name but the wrong person! Amazingly, it actually WAS her b-day, too!!
About 8 years later, I was working for a bicycle messenger service and one of the deliveries I made was to a woman that had the same last name. I asked her if she was related to the wrong b-day girl and it turns out she is!!
