Should I go and visit my aunt?

My elderly aunt recently had a minor heart attack that she is currently recovering from. I’ve posted her some books and a little treat to cheer her up. She lives interstate. When I can get the time off work, should I fly interstate to visit her? We’re really close and she’s supported me through some tough times and she’s alone.

It is always good to take a short visit and visit your family. You never know when they might pass specially if you're close to them.

That’s what I’m figuring.. thinking in a few months I’ll fly to Melbourne. Probably early January.

What if she had a relapse or worse, you would probably feel horrible.

I'm sure she would love to see you. She will understand if you can't visit very often because of the distance and expense.
