This is a debate on social media but I personally think what you’re wearing shouldn’t be a priority at someone’s birthday party. Yes you should look nice but the focus isn’t on you it’s for the birthday girl.

Ideally they shouldn't but as you grow you will learn that birthday parties with close family and close friends is enough. Commemorating it with lots of money spend and trying to make it memorable isn't worth it.

It depends on the occasion, if it’s a big celebration like a quincé or something, you shouldn’t but I don’t see the big deal about regular birthday celebrations. There’s no such thing as a full day devoted to one person
