Do women who become housewives/stay at home moms eventually start to resent their husband and children?

My friend is a house wife and she is not relying entirely on her husband for happiness, she has a large social network of friends, and often does philanthropic deeds like buying clothes for pregnant mothers or making food for new moms that are on a budget and too busy to cook.

She has friends she sees who also have kids, and she does a lot of personal fitness during the day when her kids are at school - I believe she plays at least 6 different sports such as skiing or golfing or Tai Chi or dancing and she dances in a least 2 different places. She has many hobbies like beading, piano playing, painting, spa treatments, home decorating, and she enjoys lots of fun activities vicariously while raising her kids like dinosaur displays, amusement park rides, skiing trips, she is deeply enmeshed with her husbands social contacts and helps them do house shopping, she helps her friends evaluate their dates and give recommendations for them, she helps her brother plan his wedding etc...

I suspect the same wome who would resent their husband's if they were stay at home mothers would resent their husbands if they had to go out and work full or part time.
I've met so many women here in America thar divorced a good husband for fickle reasons, basically just finding fault with the guy for no reason and they gossip about it to other women and then cheat with some guy that treats them like crap and of course all the other women in the neighbourhood find out about it. Most of them become very bitter middle aged women even though they've a new man theh left their husband for, the house, alimony, child support and full child custody they still aren't happy and when their ex husband finds somebody new they go berserk if she's younger and prettier. I mean what must the kids think of a mother who does that to their father.

Statistically you don't need to become a housewife to be the only one responsible for domestic chores and supervising the kids.

Its getting better and better, with every generation, but the wife is still doing 70% or more of the chores at home, on average.

It could happen if her hard work at home is taken for granted and goes unappreciated. Like every other job, you need some positive feedback or words of encouragement every now and then. Getting a day or two off for herself would also be much appreciated and it’ll help with her morale.

Yes resentment does happen because their husband tends to have a easier life. I'm a stay at home mom and that shit is just so unfair sometimes
