My father confiscated my cell and I have to do neverending chores, is this fair?

I've gotten a 5 day suspension because of a fight with another girl; we're both 15. My father was going to talk with the principal about the girl but someone (don't know who) forwarded him a short video of the altercation, urging him to see it for himself. I had no idea someone filmed it.

He went from taking my side to immediately confiscating my cell (this is my laptop) and refusing to even go. But just that but he sold my new shoes and replaced with old ones. Not just that but now I got neverending chores. I don't know how to clean a bathroom nor do the laundry but mom won't do it. I have to it all for the entire month or else I'll be going with dirty clothes when I get back from school. I've been banned for going to my best friend's big b-day party. Is this fair?

I did not see the video but if you were the one that started the fight I think the punishment fits the crime. Be glad you did not get a good spanking on top of that.

The OP sounds like a school bully, given by her responses of how she likes "teasing (she downplayed it)" others. People like her are ruining others' social skills and even self-esteem and confidence.

My good shoes are gone. I have to wear the old ones I don't want. Whenever I got grounded, it wasn't ever over 2-3 days. Now it's longer.

Well I get good grades but never really helped in house until now. In addition, my father saw the whole version of the fight in that short video, along, even when I said ''I like teasing people''. I've been playing pranks on others for some time.

There ya go. It's because he wants you to help around the house. Playing on the phone all day isn't helping.
Doing laundry is nothing. Toss the clothes in, turn the machine on, add soap and it does the rest. All you gotta do after an hour or so is go hang them up to dry. That shouldn't take more than another 15 or 20.
It's not a pleasant job but, cleaning the bathroom shouldn't take more than half an hour and, if you're living on your own, you'll have to do it yourself so, learn it, now.
