Why do stay home moms like to act like their lives are so hard?

When most mothers in the country have to work full time jobs then come home to do EVERYTHING that a stay home mom has to do by the end of the day?

Imagine standing 9 to 12 hrs after your stressful shift, be dead tired come home then have to make dinner, lunch boxes, do dishes, laundry, bathe the kids, clean the house, go grocery shopping.

All the recognition goes to stay home moms who get to fold laundry as they eat donuts on the couch while the real working mothers get no recognition for anything they do.

A lot of women who act like this their husband is really the one working hard, then getting home to a wife who thinks her role as a stay at home mom should be watching true crime, lifetime, hallmark, getting her hair and nails done while her husband works his ass off.

Now, some stay at home moms do all the housework, raising the kids, and genuinely appreciates her husband.

But yeah I AGREE. What about what you said. Or a mom whose been raped and has a baby, single mother, working 2 jobs, and raising a child by herself. Now she can complain all day long.

Because caring for kids 24/7 with no breaks is hard compared to working cause at least they get breaks and get paid for what they do. I know a few moms that work a few days a month just so they can get a vacation away from the stress of staying at home

They can afford a vacation because they work harder than you. You have it easier than them

Your job is to watch tv as you fold laundry or eating donuts while you're in the market grocery shopping. A working mom gets yelled at by her boss when she under performs, never gets a break until lunch time because she is getting paid by the hour. If she can't get her work done, she has to work over time as long as 10 to 14 hr days. If she works as a waitress or cashier, she has to stand 8 hours a day.

You can't compare your life to that of a working moms

My mom worked a full time job and then came home to do everything a stay home mom does in a day within just 3 hrs. She did this for 25 years. From the day I was born till her youngest son moved out of the house. This is what real hard work is.

Not even close. I work as many or few hours as I feel, which is rarely more than 10 hours a week and often 0 hours a week. All the money I make goes directly into our fun budget.

When I became unemployed when my kids were in grade school my wife went from working 3 mornings a week to full time. I stayed home with the kids. It was fun sometimes but it really was a full time job.
