I only stay in touch with my family in person or occasionally by phone calls but never ever with texts or video calls. Those are too impersonal and do not convey the messages the same way they do when you see them in person.
When I see the people in person, it is much easier to determine their mood or their spirit as facial expressions are more difficult to dissimulate. For me, texting is an absolute taboo as it is indicative of a lack of real interest in the persons.
I would rather not text and wait for the next opportunity to call them or visit them.
You’re Welcome
Phone calls.
Can rarely visit in person as a lot of my friends are in different states and countries.

Phone calls and face-to-face visits. I don't text anyone, ever.
In person visits are always the best considering the fact that we have a good relationship
