If you hear there is a bad car accident in the area and you know of loved ones that maybe in that area, do you start making phone calls?

Are me and my mother the only ones? Since I was little, I would call people I think might be in the area of the accident and would really start to freak out if they don’t answer! I once called my dad 15 times in a 5 min time span, when he finally answered, he bitched at me because he thought something happened to me or another family member! Lol….. My mother is the same way. Are any of you like this?

If they are in an accident then a phone call is the last thing they need. Emergency response will ask them if they need to notify anyone.

That’s why I call. Nine times out of ten they’ll answer and confirm they are okay. It’s the one time there isn’t an immediate answer that will worry me. I know it sounds crazy but I’ve been like this my whole life.
