I also have a talent for writing and creative ventures. I don’t have any talent or joy from numbers. I am the child of two civil engineers, meaning they are two people who loved math so much they made it their jobs. They are still my parents. Talent is not something you inherit in your blood, skills like drawing and writing are skills. You learn how to do them and when you love doing those things it doesn’t feel like a struggle to learn how to make them better. Not sharing an interest with your parents doesn’t mean you’re adopted.


Now, if both of your parents have brown eyes and you have blue eyes then yeah. You’re probably adopted. If you share no physical traits with your parents then you’re definitely adopted.

I'm not sure if I physically resemble the individuals in my family. But I don't have extremely different physical characteristics from the people in my family.

If there’s no strong physical differences, i. e. being naturally blonde/red in a family of brunettes or experiencing any physical conditions such as allergies, skin sensitivities, or digestion issues, then you’re probably not adopted

No, I'm taller than both my parents, I think the 2nd tallest out of both families.
But my face resembles my mom, my build is more like my dad, so it isn't hard to know who my parents are.
My mom was a pretty good artist, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler, but that is where my musical talent came from.

That's not a sign of being adopted. Almost anything goes when it comes to talents and interests. Even looks don't mean much (with some exceptions).

There are plenty of siblings who are like night and day. I've even known fraternal twins who were very different from each other.

I believe siblings can have different talents and never was adopted. Now, like my Dad, my Sister learned to drive late in her 40s. But like my late Mom, I never learned to drive yet. So I believe different interests and talents can happen to different people.

I don't feel a sense of belonging towards my family. My parents are trying to be nice to me, but I think it's a problem with me that I don't feel belonging.
