So today is my actual birthday and none of my coworkers or children said happy birthday. Only two did. Like seriously? It’s my birthday and should be thinking about me and this day is all about me but I didn’t wanna sounds selfish and egotistical.

I wouldn't expect happy birthday from co-workers. And if your kids are very young, which at 24 I would expect them to be, I wouldn't expect them to remember your birthday unless your spouse or partner told them to remember it. My mom and dad always reminded me to wish whatever parent it was a happy birthday, and finally I remembered on my own as I got older.
What about your parents? Didn't they wish you happy birthday? No close relatives knew or remembered? Aren't your grandparents still alive? What about good friends?
I got birthday wishes from aunts, uncles, grandparents and even friends of my parents. I still get a birthday card from a high school friend of mine who lives long distance! It tickles me. Other friends remember too.
But what's the tradition been in your family? It doesn't sounds like it was a big deal if none of your close relatives chimed in. What about brothers or sisters?
You can't substitute children and non-relatives for the people who are generally supposed to remember and wish you well on your birthday. But what's the bottom line about your family birthday celebrations in the past?

I feel like my coworkers are fake to me. They said happy birthday to the other coworkers (who has the same birthday as me) and most kids said happy birthday to her and gave her hugs but they completely ignored me. Even the two coworkers I work in the classroom with didn’t wish me a happy birthday and when I told the kids, the room went silent. None of them said happy to me. I blame the boss for not informing the teachers. When they say the other worker, the kids said happy birthday to her. I was crushed but I didn’t show it. 😩😤🥺💔

The comments in this question are depressing, that's all I'm gonna say.. Instead of saying something positive and uplifting to you, people had to be jerks and say "no one gives a ***t or grow up". Unfortunately a lot of people in the world mean (your coworkers seem fake, if they didn't wish you happy birthday but wished the other girl; it seems you aren't part of their clique lol) but there are still lots of good people.
I also wish others a happy birthday, it doesn't cost anything being kind

It's understandable to feel disappointed when people don't acknowledge your birthday, but it doesn't necessarily mean they don't care about you. People can get busy or may not be aware. Consider expressing your feelings to those close to you, and they might make it up to you. Happy birthday!

And they are correct. Birthdays is for friends (some not all) and family. No one else cares for better or worse it doesn't mean much to them so they don't put time, energy or effort into it. If a random person came up to me and said "it's my birthday" i'd say "good for you" and walk away. It's a birthday it isn't a federal or state holiday it isn't even a holiday at all. It is a moment in time that occurs once a year where some celebrate the fact their parents had sex.

Outside of close friends and immediate family only reason to wish someone a happy birthday is to be "nice" if people are too pathetically emotional to the point not getting one ruins their whole day they need to go see a therapist.
Because it's common courtesy, when you know it's someone's birthday and doesn't cost anything and it's a small gesture that can bring a smile to someone's face.

I can’t make them say it to me but it was hurtful that everyone even the kids said happy birthday to my other coworker but not me. When I told them it was my birthday too they were like “yeah yeah.” Or didn’t respond.

It’s my birthday! Well now yesterday. My older sister said why would they care about the day I was born and they’re coworkers not your buddies or family. Then she said besides I’m an adult not a child anymore so grow up.
They said happy birthday to the other coworker and most of the kids said happy birthday to her but none of them said it to me. Even the kids ignored me. They said hi but no “happy birthday” I was so hurt.
She got a lot special gifts and I didn’t. Well two coworkers got me gift cards which was nice. I did appreciate that.
