You find out your teen child has been crossdressing at school: are you upset with them?

I am very upset! I will punish them somehow.

I am only upset that they hid it / broke dress code. I will punish or talk to them about lying / respecting authority.

I'd be worried about why they felt a need to hide it from me when it's something they're doing in public; I'd aim (I don't know if I'd pull it off, but I'd TRY) to be the kind of parent where my kids wouldn't think "I'm going to be in so much trouble; I've got to hide this from Dad", but "I'm in so much trouble; I'd better call Dad".

This type of thing would be a sign that I was failing, and badly.

As long as they aren't getting hurt by it from others, it's perfectly fine by me! If girls can do it, why can't boys? From what I understand, in Japan, they have cross-dress days where the boys dress like girls and the girls dress like boys and, as far as I know, nothing bad comes of it.

wouldn't be upset lol seems a bit extream it not somthing I like but they are old enough to dress themself
