My mother is in denial that my guy friend likes me and everyone else thinks otherwise even my dad thinks he does like me. what should I do?

Every time my dad says to my mom there might be a chance he likes me , she always tells my dad stop rising her hopes , he doesn’t like her.

A few things you could try:

- Have a talk with your mom and really lay it all out - how he acts around you, what your friends/dad say, etc. Make it clear you aren't just making assumptions.

- Ask your mom flat out why she's so resistant to the idea. Is she worried about you dating? Reassure her you're not trying to rush anything.

- Suggest your mom watches how he interacts with you next time he's around. Maybe seeing it in person will change her view.

- Talk to your friends and dad again too. Get more details they've noticed so you have solid examples.

- You could talk to the guy yourself and see how he acts! Maybe have him hang out casually one day when your mom is home so she sees.

- As a last resort, just give it time. Sometimes parents can be stubborn but eventually come around.

-he treats me differently from other girls
- he either stares deep in my eyes or sometimes makes noise for me to look his side and he moves his eyes

-always wants me to be there when talking to our mutual friends
