I'd say 2 is a well balanced amount and since they are siblings, they will always have each other and stuff.

if i go single parent 2 boys at most

if i go with 1 woman then (asuming my girl will stay as a girl forever or i will die before she has her first sexual encounter) then either 2 boy 1 girl (which is an inheritence at both of my side of family 2 older brother 1 little sister) or 3 boy 2 girl (maybe a 4th boy is on the rode)

if i have multiple wives and the conditions above is still valid then let's say 4 woman who has 2 boy 1 girl which means 8 boy and 4 girl.

I used to want 4 so it could ideally by 2 boys and 2 girls but as I grow up and due to taking care of my niblings, now I only want 2. Originally I only wanted 1 but a friend told me it’d be kinda fucked up since they’d be an only child lol. I’m open to have maybe 3 kids tho if my future SO rlly wanted more
