Are you a bad person after going through an abusive relationship?

So she was verbally and physically abusive and it seemed if I tried say or do anything to defend myself her friends, our mutual friends and her family would take her side meanwhile my mental health spirals down because no one seems to fucking care

I hate when people don't come to support a boy/guy whose been abused it's so not right! My boyfriend was abused as a boy by his mother and older sister and even by girls at school. When he told someone he was told he's a boy toughen up and just let it happen. He suffers from ptsd and when it happened at school he relived the abuse all over just because he's a boy. I think it's terrible the way we treat boys/men they suffer in silence. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

You broke up with her right? Then if you feel like the abuse had lasting effects on your mental health, you should try therapy.
