I know most kids usually think their mom is prettier than most, but I've had the opinion that between the two, my aunt is prettier.

yeah. just don't tell your mom because she'll probably start an argument with you and never let you live it down
i meant to say that it's not weird, basically
Ah man, this is kinda awkward. I mean, objectively noticing another woman is attractive isn't that weird I guess. But comparing your mom and aunt's looks directly is getting into dangerous territory dude.
Some things to keep in mind:
- Your mom birthed you and raised you. So of course you love and respect her unconditionally, regardless of looks. Saying another woman in the family is "prettier" puts her down in a way.
- Judging women primarily on beauty or looks promotes unhealthy attitudes. Their character, talents, how they treat others matters way more.
- If word ever got back to your mom or aunt about your opinion, it could seriously damage your relationships with them both. Family bonds are way too important.
- Attraction to family is biologically/psychologically complicated. Better to just avoid going there.
My advice? Don't voice that opinion out loud to anyone. Just appreciate both women for who they are without direct comparison. And show your mom extra love and gratitude for all she does! She's beautiful TO YOU because of everything she means to your life. That's what really counts in the end.
There was little doubt my Aunt , who was an absolute glamour , was vastly more attractive than my mother , but my mother had 5 children , my Aunt - Zero , plus she was tall for the times , so if its true which I'm sure it is , its not remotely weird.
Thanks for sharing that. I kinda felt guilty for thinking that but I guess I can't help my opinions.
Genetics are genetics Mr Asker , and then there is all the other stuff , In my Aunts case , obviously not having 5 kids helps , my mother was very pretty when she married at 20 , but still not as good looking as her sister , and of course her sister pushed this point , sister was older by 3 years.
Mum did better financially ( even with all those kids ) and back in the day she'd send $50 aud a month to her sister - quite a bit back then.
So there was karma to a degree , yet Ms N ( sister ) lived 9 years longer , and died at 83 when he bowled the lawn bowl and died in minutes ( no pain ) , still pursued by the old guys at the bowling club , where she hoped to marry another multi - mill , so she did okey haha.
Oh, haha.
My aunt and my mom have one kid each.
Are they very close in age?
Yeah, my aunt is a couple years older.
Are you asking annon in case your mother reads?
No, she doesn't get on here.
