Her parents beat her up every time she raised her voice and portrays her a failure to everyone when someone asks what your daughter is up to in life.
There MBA daughter is doing what she wanted in life while this daughter sacrificed her wishes to do what her dad wanted. Since it takes a lot of time for her cuz it's difficult she is made to feel guilty. Her expenses are being calculated even for 14-20-50 bucks but the mba daughter gets 10k 15k every month or two.

So now the daughter has locked herself in a room, doesn't talk to her parents, and tries cooking her own meal most of the time. While her parents keep asking each other "what the hell is she trying to prove. This daughter has ruined our lives. "
What do you think she is trying to prove?

Nobody cares what she's trying to prove other than her. The world is never impressed by third tier characters "trying to prove" that they are main cast in anyone's story but their own. If she's getting 5k+ a months she should move out. That she hasn't just shows she's so greatly damaged or severely narcissistic that she deserves the dumpster fire that is her life.

In the end nobody will remember her, and in the interim nobody will care.

Her parents are over achievers who care about what society thinks and like to maintain their social status. She gets mocked, taunted, insulted, constantly shown her weakness and pointed out her mistakes, even beaten up when she screams or reacts out of anger. So now she has shut herself in a room, cooks her own meal instead of eating the same food as her family, and stopped any form of communication with her parents. Though her parents still refer to her as a difficult girl who is ungrateful. She is still financially dependent as this happens to a high status royal joint family. She sacrificed her dreams for her parents dreams so ofc it's taking time for her to start earning.
Now everyone who is seeing this is questioning what is she trying to prove.

It's about career paths. Her sister got to fulfill her choice of career while she did what her parents wanted
