How do you present yourself to others, are you too busy to even get to know someone, where are you looking for to meet others, how much time and effort are you investing in your search.
There are guys out there that are thinking the same thing, so now all you have to do is go find them.
Possible some of the better "dating" site, where you have to pay to join, like It's just lunch, eHarmony, sites like that.
Usually, the cost helps keep most of the ones away that are just looking to hook up, and the vast majority of people on there are more serious about developing a relationship with someone.
Life is not a Hallmark movie, I wore flannel shirts, had a pickup, a dog and live outside of a small town, but nothing at all came out of it other than getting laid.
Finding someone is a lot of work, pretty much like a second job, and you don't want to come off desperate when you meet someone, there is a balance between the two.
I met my wife through eHarmony, being in the afore mentioned small town, the pickins were slim, so I went outside the area.
It took a while but it worked.
she knew right away, (might have been the flannel shirt truck and dog, me, I took longer.
This is both our second marriages so we weren't in a hurry to do that again.
It's been 5 years, going on 6 since we got married.
My niece didn't have her kid until her late 30's.10 Reply

+1 yIt's not a sentence... yet. But I think the risk is high. First, You might have to lie about Your age or rely on those who will not ask questions, even if Your "appeal" remains relatively high. Second, children with genetic issues require more care and sometimes fail to provide the gratification expected (if You actually expect any - if You are perfectly fine with putting a lot of effort to bring up children that are unlikely to ever blend in with their... say, "friends" for lack of a better word, You will be fine, and I actually believe that You might not care), and the risk of a genetic issue goes through the roof at this point. Also, a time is approaching fast when bearing children will no longer be biologically possible for You, unless Your name is Sarah and Your husband's name is going to be Abraham (sorry for that not-really-humorous part).
However, as I said in the beginning, it's not really a sentence yet.

+1 yI was single at 33. I had just broken up with one of my exes. Some people have children late. Maybe you'll be one of them, maybe you won't. My aunt she had TWINS back in 2012 after an IVF procedure at the age of 49. It was her SECOND marriage. She already had three kids prior from her first husband.
Stop worrying. If you're really THAT desparate then go to a sperm bank and do it on your own or freeze your eggs. That's probably are more sure-fire way to get that baby. Trying to find another successful relationship can be risky anyways. OR, I heard of this website called Co-parenting. com where the only thing they have in common is that both wanted children. Good luck anyway. I wish people were THIS nice and supportive to me on here!

+1 yAs for love it works in mysterious ways & when it comes to being single you are not alone. 33 years young you are & as for the future anything is possible. As for being single there is nothing wrong with it & as for having kids there is nothing that says you have to have them in the first place. Turn your frown upside down & simply live your life.

Today is the day that changes everything , embrace life , be your best , and we will work on relationships from there , just be interesting and fit , it will happen.
00 ReplyBiologically you have 2 years left until you have less than a 1% chance of having a healthy kid without learning disabilities, if any at all.
I would recommend you focus on trying to find a partner now and prioritize it above all else in your life if you ever want to raise a family.
Don't listen to the delusional people that try to deny biology and generations of statistics. You are ultimately the one that will have to live with your decisions.

What does the high value in your username mean, if it means you then you arr lying to yourself.

Where are the studies or journals stating that statistic? I’m not denying that the risk for genetic or developmental anomalies is higher for older parents, but I find it hard to believe that there’s a guaranteed 99.9% chance of it happening the second you turn 35.

@musicbrain5 It is very unlikely to happen irrespective of how old you are. These things mostly run in families.
You running out of time but you can still have children at this age.

+1 yNot necessarily but you are literally running out of time. I am sure you know that. If you haven't found a partner yet you may want to have a look at what you look for and maybe make some changes
00 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Nope you still have hope. I recently heard that 35 is the new 25 for fertility. If you can't get a man than find a donor

10 Reply No, that doesn't logically follow. You could always adopt. And no, 33 isn't too old, if you think you're past the age for such things.

00 ReplyI'm 44 now, and don't want kids. Why? Because I'm too old. Think how old I will be when they are teenagers? As for you, if some man comes into your life soon, you still can do it.
