The secretary of the ambassador lost my reply form to join the army when I was 17. I lived overseas. A year or two later, I graduated from high school and in the airport of my home country, when my pasport was scanned, it triggered the silent alarm.
Few minites later, the airport SWAT team came to get me. They seemed dissapointed I was no threat to them. Anyway this was in Terminal 2. They escorted me to the Airport Police Station to sign a document. After being in the station for 15 minutes they told me to enlist myself in the army office a month from now and then told me to leave their station.
The funniest part was the escort. One skinny black guy in a white country walking through the security checkpoints, with 6 SWAT guys witj rifles and everything. Through the checkpoints there were huge lines cuz many planes landed almost at the same time. The SWAt tean screamed, Open the Gates, as we passed the lines like VIPs.
At the artival hall, everyone went silent as we came through and to the cop cars that had even police dogs more cops waiting outside with cars. My aunt was shocked.
I just smiled while I walked as if I was King snd they my bodyguards. Everyone else thought I was something deadly level dangerous enough to require all that police around me.
no, not any friends or family, but I have seen people that are getting arrested. Every so often we will have to pick up a patient at the PDs Sally port, the secure area where they can unload a prisoner but there is no way out if they break free and take them to the county jail, or the hospital to get checked out, or at a concert facility that is in our jurisdiction where they get hauled in all the time for doing something stupid, drugs, underage drinking, fighting, and sadly there have been some more serious ones assaults etc.
My dad had a friend of a friend who was arrested for domestic violence and I know somebody who was also arrested but the second case was more about jail baiting and not about violence or cruelty cause both married people hit each other and the hitting was never worse than what a 2 year old kid could achieve in a moment of weaponless rage. It’s just they believed the wife because she was female. I think you could divorce a guy like that but he does not deserve to be jailed in the same prison as rapists and killers and con artists.
No never happened. The closest I got to an arrest was when I visited my parrents and the neigbors son was arrested for drug dealing. He was underage though. To be honest while we were never close, as he is like 5 years younger than me I watched him grow up. Also I knew his dad the most I think. His dad got divorced from his mom and didn't life with them anymore.
Yes. My friends had just picked me up and we went a few blocks away and a cop car pulled us over for speeding. Well my friend who was driving gave the cops sh! t about pulling him over when a girl in our area had been killed that week with a nail through her neck and they should be looking for the one who did it instead. They pulled him out, threw him hard on the car, frisked and cuffed him and then lots of cops arrived.
They asked if any of us were sober and my friends all volunteered me as I was just picked up. I had to do a sobriety test in order to drive the car to the police station. We went there and they told us it would be hours before he could leave as they were booking him. We decided to leave and go have fun. By the time we came back to get him I would not have passed the sobriety test. When he came out he was all friendly with the cops which if he had done that earlier it would have saved us all a lot of problems.
Lmfao, my mom. She’s where I got my live wire streak from😝 I tried to stop them but they were about to arrest me too, and I couldn’t have the whole family getting hauled off😂
Wouldn’t say it was a friend now. When I was 15 my Aunt was arguing with her (now ex) husband and somehow ended up at our house and the police arrested him in our living room.
Never friends or family. I did see the FBI come into my company, many years ago, and walk out with the company CEO in handcuffs. He later spent jail time for embezzlement and bribery.
Never been arrested. But was once pulled over for a bank robbery suspect! I was driving a pickup truck and they were supposed to be looking for a car!!! Must not have gotten the memo!👮♂️🛻
I was stopped and searched once leaving my place of work, they were looking for someone stealing memory chips (worth more than diamonds by weight at the time). I got out of the car, holding my jacket, the officer patted me down, one side, then the other. I'm convinced he didn't consider me a suspect after I suggested he should check the jacket I was holding!
Ironically, I had chips in the jacket pocket I'd found in the bin! I never did investigate them properly.
when i was little both my parents hit me. once when ma hit me i was a wise guy went to a neighbor house and called cops "mom hit someone that is a bad crime." they came arrested her.
Yup enough times including myself. I got mistaken for someone who the Police were looking for, and didn't even get an apology ( this was in my 20s). I have too many stories to even right honestly.
