AITA for calling my friend a bully?

Is it mean to call someone a bully if you feel they actually bullied you? My friend did many things to me under the guise of friendship, but what takes the cake is her going through my room and spreading rumours about me because I take anxiety medication. She found it in my drawers. She told people I'm mentally unwell and tried to force her unwanted advice on mental health on me.

I ended the friendship because I felt bullied by her fo 2 years and we got into a confrontation where I said to her I think she can be a bully. She then started crying and is acting like I'm the bully. She says I'm a bad person. AITA for calling her a bully? Is it mean to call a bully a bully?

Dude, that is messed up what your "friend" did. Going through your stuff and spreading rumors about private medical stuff is so not okay. And acting like she knows better than you about mental health stuff is super condescending.

You are definitely NTA for calling her a bully. It was bullying behavior, plain and simple. She wants to act like the victim now cause she got called out, but she started it by invading your privacy and putting you down to others behind your back.

Don't feel bad at all. Stand up for yourself. You don't deserve to be treated that way by someone who is supposed to be a friend. Good for you for cutting her off - you don't need that toxic drama in your life.

Surround yourself with people who care about you and don't gossip behind your back. This girl was not a real friend. Try not to worry what she says now - she knows she effed up. You did the right thing here for sure.

No you're surely not the asshole for calling her a bully. She had no right going through your stuff first off and she definitely had no right to tell people you were mentally unwell. She sounds like the type of person not to be friends with.
