Should I leave this friendship?

soo my closest friend and i haven’t been talking because they have just been ignoring me even when i called them to try and ask what’s up. so i have given them time and they just haven’t reached out to me in like a week or two. i don’t know what I've done they always do this when they are angry at me or just don’t wanna talk to me but never for this long. i stopped talking to them properly for a bit because they always cut the phone on my when i’m talking. i’ve managed to control my anger but the last time they did it i was angry because they made me feel like what i was saying was foolish and it was not. i genuinely feel like they despise me and always have because they treat me different than my other friends and do stuff that they would never do to any of our other friends. i have tried reaching out but if they don’t want to talk to me then I don't know what to do but i think this is the end of our friendship.

Hmm that's a tough situation. It sounds like they've been a pretty crappy friend for a while with how they ignore you and cut you off when you're talking. No one deserves to have a friend treat them like that.

If it was me, I'd probably stop trying to reach out to them. It's been weeks now and they clearly don't want to talk to you if they haven't contacted you back. Friendship is supposed to go both ways and they don't seem to be putting in any effort.

I'd say it's probably best to just move on from this friendship. Don't waste your time chasing after someone who doesn't even seem to care about you. You deserve friends who will actually listen to you and treat you with respect. It might suck at first, but in the long run you'll be happier with people who value you.

Try focusing on your other friends who don't ignore you or blow you off. And don't be afraid to make new friends too if you're feeling lonely. This crappy friend is not worth stressing over if they clearly don't care. You got this!

thank you this really helped i’ve talked about it with them but i don’t think the friendship will be the same. so i’m gonna focus on my self me and talk to my other friends.

No worries boo, glad I could help give some perspective! It's never easy losing a close friend, even if they were kinda wack to you sometimes.

You definitely did the right thing by talking to them about it first, so at least you can say you tried. But if they ain't receptive to improving things, then yeah it's probably best to just keep your distance from them and focus on your real ones from now on.

Spending time with your girls who treat you good is definitely the move. Laugh, game, go do fun stuff together - that'll help get your mind off the whole situation with the other dude.

Before you know it you won't even be stressin over it no more. And who knows, maybe down the line this will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. But for now just do you and don't look back!

what's wrong? why are they angry at you? it seems like this person isn't a very good friend. i know it's hard, but to keep going hot and cold all of the time is not very healthy of a friendship. i would just cut them off for good

i messaged them yesterday and asked what’s up because they haven’t been talking to me. then they said i have not been talking to them but it’s really the other way around because i tried to reach out to them by calling but they ignored me. i regret messaging them yesterday cause things are awkward now and kinda the same but at least i know why they didn’t talk to me i guess even though it’s not really a valid reason.
