How to leave a friendship?

Last year around this time I became friends with an upperclassman and I thought she was so cool, she was in my hobby which is theatre, in theatre we are required to interact with everybody.(please remember this)! Well the point is- she gave really good advice.. or so I thought she did and so I trusted her with everything. With my whole heart and I regret that so much, during the summer of this year a whole lot of drama happened and I realize that she isn’t the best person. She was saying bad stuff about the religion she KNOWS im in right in front of my face. She used that she was there for me when my ex best friend had stabbed me in the back and she used that against me. I don’t want to be around her anymore, i can't. It hurts me to be around someone that disrespects me so bad and talks bad about everyone in the school even when I state I don’t like that. im in theatre and competitive acting and she is too. I already have a big dap of distance from her but I feel like I need more because it still hurts me💔 I’ve tried everything in my heart to forgive her when she hasn’t even apologized (INFACT she made me apologize) and it hurts that I cannot..

Don't apologize, and forgiving doesn't mean give more chances, forgive just means to not hold anymore hatred in your heart because of that, forgive and forget, you forgive by letting go of the hate and you forget by moving on and not give them anymore time, you don't have to apologize to forgive, you just have to let everything go, you also don't have to ask for forgiveness for them to forgive so if they hold onto that hatred, that is no longer your problem.

Thank you, I don’t know how to cut her off. I distanced myself from her last month entirely and this month as well. This morning she texted me mean stuff saying how I wasn’t a good friend because im ignoring her and she called me names. Im trying to cut her off entirely but I just dont know how.

I deeply wish it wasn’t a problem. Although unfortunately she is the type to spread rumors about another person to someone. She’s also close to all of my friends- I understand that it’d prove who is my real friend but it’ll be the second time this happens as it happened last year with the ex best friend I mentioned it’d just be a other person. She’s a senior and im a sophomore in Highschool, and I was going to wait till she graduated so I could finally block her but I don’t really want to wait
