Yes. To the guy who was in love with me since high school. Over a decade we were in touch and even though I couldn't stand him in the beginning later years we actually went along perfectly. But I was too ignorant and adamant to see the truth. I never realized what we had was what is actually all you need to spend the rest of your life peacefully. The perfect blend of similarities and differences. Respect and kindness. Fights and reconciliation. He moved on but kept in touch. I started falling for him but too late. He was with someone. I moved on and married am abuser. It was when my husband was bullying me and degrading me while threatening to kill me during a fight I started feeling the ground beneath me. I divorced him and that same month he married his girlfriend. I wanted to scream and tell him don't marry her.
He's gotten back in touch with me but of course he's married and he's secure enough in their relationship to just text me as a friend. i want to tell him sorry for hurting him and never reciprocating the love but hey! He's in a perfectly happy marriage with a woman who is a thousand times upgrade. So sayin sorry to him there's no purpose, because because of my ignorance he's met his soulmate. So the person I should be sorry to is myself.

My best friend told me that she loved me after I moved 1400 miles away. Said she always did from the second she saw me. We had an emotional affair for 6 years but when I told her I wanted to leave my wife and marry her she said no and a few months after that went ghost. Reading this makes me think this is how she feels. I would send her a link to the Papa roach song "you don't have to say your sorry" but that's what we used to do. Send links to songs that said what we wanted to say.

@JayBones I think my divorce made me messed up. It also made me realize that I should've told him that I loved him even after knowing he had a girlfriend. Now he talks to me as if we were friends. I get Confused now. It's so easy for him to talk about our lives and past lives as if he never loved me. He's probably very happy and secure in his marriage in order to be able to do that. Also my stupid heart kept wishing he'd leave her after hearing I'm suffering in my marriage and have separated. That's messed up I know. But when he contacted me last week I felt a hope again but there's nothing in reality. I wish he'd realize and leave her. But hey! If he even does is, that'd hurt so many people! Would I be able to happy at the cost of another woman's happiness? No. My conscience wouldn't let me. So after a certain point is crossed there's no turning back and happy ever after I guess. In my case, he seems extremely happy with her. She's a 1000th times upgrade.

Unfortunately yes.
A guy I used to hang out with, for whom I had feelings. Being in the mindset I was at the time, I realise now that I had been an absolute asshole to him. Which he really didn't deserve. Not that his decisions were always the most mature, but I certainly said some hurtful things that I shouldn't have.
Honestly, I feel like I should apologise to anyone I ever made feel bad. Even when that was a reaction to how they treated me. I still often feel like I should have done and known better in many cases. Which is why I now hate when people talk bad about someone behind their back. I've been on both ends, hurt and hurting, and it does leave a mark no one deserves.00 Reply
+1 ySometimes I think about that but when I think I like that I remember just in spiritual enpowerment and belief they hear us.

+1 yOh man…. When I was maybe 14 I kind of phone-dated this girl from a suburb, like we got hooked up by a mutual friend. We talked on the phone a few weeks, and we got along well. We finally met up to go to the movies.
I was waiting for her by the big fountain outside of the theaters, just blind, and a couple girls started walking near me and looking around, and I figured it was this girl and her friend she was bringing. Long story short, I wasn’t super attracted to either of them, and I almost considered bailing out, but I couldn’t do it. The friend finally deliberately called the girl I was meeting out by name, and I finally introduced myself. So we went to the movie, it was fine, but I just didn’t feel the vibe. I wanted her to be as hot as I had built her up to be in my head, which was really the problem, it’s not that anything was wrong with her. She was certainly on the better side of average, so I was just being an idiot.
Anyway, the movie ended, we went home. I didn’t know how to handle it. The next time she called, or maybe I called her, I forget…. I was just super mean to her out of the blue. I just was extremely rude to her until she hung up on me. I don’t have any idea why I thought that would feel better, even just for me, than being honest with her, or at very least letting her down more gently. And it’s even worse because of our age…. we’re so insecure at that age, that must have destroyed her.
I hope she realized I was an idiot and got over quickly. But I’d love to just get a conversation with her, even three decades later, and just apologize and tell her I didn’t mean anything I said, I thought she was a great girl, but I just didn’t feel a spark, and I was too young, immature, and inexperienced to properly convey that not in the manner of a sociopath🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

+1 ymy sister. i miss having another sister.
our childhood and family life wasn’t the best. i think my parents did the best they could but they took a lot of their frustrations out on us. my other sister was really mean to her. so was my brother. i never stood up for her
she’s estranged , doesn’t want to reconnect. doesn’t want anything to do with me or any of her siblings. i wish i could go back in time and make things right. i did try to apologize
haven’t seen her since 201010 Reply521 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. To Patrick,
I'm sorry I didn't try harder to find a rehab place for you for your ADHD and the meth you were taking to help ease the symptoms of your ADHD.
After you died a few months ago I looked on the internet and found a rehab place for VETERANS that treat both of your problems.
Now it's too late, because there was Fentanyl in your meth the last time you smoked it and it killed you.
And when you asked me if I loved you I really didn't answer because I thought you had struck up a relationship with another woman. So, yes in answer to your question. I always loved you.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yKid I met online in 2016. He was extremely depressed and insecure. One of those people you try to help, but they need more than you can give and they just end up dragging you down instead. I still wasn't very kind when I ended that friendship. I was young and didn't have as much compassion and perspective. Maybe two years after we stopped talking, I searched for him to reach out again and found out he'd deleted his account. I only knew his first name, so I have no way of finding him again. He'd be turning 22 this year. I hope he's doing better than he was back then. I hope he never gave up on life and he's out or at least nearly out of that abusive household he grew up in.
00 ReplyTo my younger brother, who is now in heaven for 12 years. The day he died, I was mean to him for no reason, I couldn’t understand why I was mad at him and ignore him.
I keep thinking maybe if I had talked to him that might have delayed him to his destination, and he wouldn’t die that day!11 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yYeah, and ex.
It's a complicated story. And a lot happened. But I hurt him after the break-up when he still wasn't over me.
It's 4 years ago and I still think about it so often.
But we're in no way in contact anymore and I believe he would rather just never hear from me again, which I respect.

+1 yNope. I believe I fall in that short list of "heartless" people. I tend to think things through so if I say or do something I thought about it and meant to say or do what I said or did
00 ReplyYea every girl I ever asked out, for having the audacity to think I ever had a shot with any of them when I have a face like mine.
To my family for being born especially with being born ugly and having them hate me because of it.
