My mum told her friend that I’m thick as a brick. It turns out that I’m quite intelligent but Autistic. We discovered years later. You don’t need to prove anything, just let time teach them they’re wrong. If they’re wrong, they’ll realise it one day. Not from your pointing it out though or trying to be what you’re not, to please them.
I think it's a terrible thing to do to a child. That's something my mom never did to us kids. She always told us that we were all different and have different strengths and she helped each of us develop the strengths we had.
Id feel very insulted.
