The naivety of young people is something I don't have the patients for, that's all. It's like having a conversation with someone who hasn't experienced something but they're giving you theor input when you never asked for it. It's just annoying, not personal

I think the teacher probably just has a hard time keeping a boyfriend. So that's why she has to take her frustration out on the children. She needs little people to control so that she herself can feel in control.
I don't know if this video was the best example. Could you give another scenerio...
by the way anyone under 18 has like no rights. It's bs

This video is a bad example. The child, though gifted, was in the wrong and the teacher handled her outburst well.
In my experience with actual shit tier teachers, I had a similar situation like this video in 3rd grade but it went south, fast. The story is our homeroom teacher was absent, so our class was split into groups and placed in different classrooms. The group I was in got the I'm-tenure-so-fuck-these-kids type of teacher. She placed our group in the corner front of the classroom next to the board; so I was able to see all the other students and the back of the teacher. This woman was having a read-aloud, and I noticed a lot of her students saying words wrong and she's not providing guidance or anything. It's like she was letting them be stupid. One child pronounced island as IS LAND, or read said as RED when the sentence didn't call for a past tense. I was hoping she'll give guidance, but it never came. The last straw for me was when a girl was reading a paragraph about the state of Maryland, but she kept saying MARRY LAND. After like the 3rd time, I interrupted and said, "It's Maryland." Yeah, rude, I know.
This bitch ass teacher exploded. "Excuse me," she yelled. I knew it wasn't a question, but I didn't care. "She's saying Maryland wrong," I replied. "You're not the teacher or apart of this class; be silent." I frowned and stated, "Then as the teacher teach her how to say it properly, Maryland is one of our States; she's going to sound dumb." Not only did this woman get in my face, but she proceeded to quietly curse me out; then she told the girl say the words however way she wanted. The cursing out part was fine since it was normalized at home, plus this was in the 90's, it would be my word against hers. What upset me was the fact that this teacher is facilitating ignorance.Because it's not socially acceptable for children to know more than the teacher. When a teacher meets kids who are smarter than them, that's a hit on their ego. Few are those teachers who would encourage smart kids and help them.
I've met such bad teachers in my life and on one occasion I and two other kids at school made it so she got fired for knowing less than us, lol She was a teacher on "computer skills" which we had long before we went to that particular school. A few times we hacked her computer which was a "master" whereas our computers were "slaves" (meaning with less rights than hers) and reversed the roles - all of our computers became masters and hers was a slave. We did that a few times, eventually the principal decided there was no point in keeping that particular class and dismissed it, along with the arrogant teacher.I do not believe most people are like this. It's just SOME people.
I also believe that sometimes some people my do things that they do not realize are bad until after it happens. Sometimes I do things that I do not even think of as bad until I see someone else do it and then it hits me, what I did was wrong, and I feel bad about it.
However, if someone constantly does it then that's different.
These people like to belittle anyone not simply based on age, just anyone and little kids are easy targets because they are learning, so they don't know as much as an older person and sometimes cannot even defend themselves because they are silenced by the adult, which is why they can be attacked easily. It's sad.
People like that are not just awful people but also stupid. As you get more experienced in life, adults are really not much different from children. The only difference is that adults tend to hide their pettiness better than children. Many adults are immature, petty, won't take responsibility over their own actions, can't admit it when they are wrong, can't say sorry, won't own up to their mistakes, jealous, attack / bully others. Trust me on this.
because they have low self esteem and cutting someone else down makes them feel better.
It's called wounds... sadly, that is humanity and why have to protect children and have very open communication with them to support them through their development, or the world will pass on it's damage to them, and cycle repeats. takes almost no effort to screw up a child.I think that's very wrong interpretation of the scene. The reason why the teacher was acting that way was because the kid was being arrogant. Not all the other students were as talented as she was, the teacher was, or at least should've been protecting the other students, not her own ego.
Because, emotionally, more adults than ever are just physically developed children (whiny, entitled, spoiled) who don't understand respect, empathy, or how to consider another beyond their own needs - want evidence try to have a political discussion & find out how much they RATIONALLY collect information in an attempt to analyze and produce the best conclusion vs. throw an emotional tantrum when someone disagrees with them.
It’s just an easy way of hushing the kids without having to reason with them too much. Most adults choose the easy way out.
Some absolutely do! I have a even worse problem when parents pull pranks on their own kids for their enjoyment regardless of their child's feelings!
It's because adults are superior to children. I can attribute a lot of my own successes to bieng smart enough to shut up and learn from people with more experience than me.
It's a scene in a movie. How do you go from "a scene in a movie" to concluding this is how adults behave?
You ask as if all adults do this. Why have you experienced this? Because you're ugly.
Just look at her. The little girl is so bitch and rude. I don’t care how much iq she has. The behaviour of her is out of the world.
I wish every kid in the world was like that
It's important kids learn manners.
because most kids are stupid and need to know and respect boundaries
I didn't know we did?
I don't bring them down, I just prove I'm right.
I don't know. Adults and kids are different
