At what age should you stop putting your parents on a pedestal?

I’m 28. My sister is 26. Still until this day I feel like she thinks she is our mother. Everything our mom says and does in her eyes is absolutely true and right. It’s almost like she doesn’t have her own identity outside of my mother. I still take my mother’s advice and I respect what she says but I don’t try nor do I want to be her. I now understand she’s human and was never as perfect as I painted her to be when I was a child. I feel like my sister has yet to grow into that stage. It’s been times I’ve tried to give her advice and she has gotten upset and said “I wasn’t talking to you. I was talking to my mom.” And what I’m saying usually is right and I know things my mom doesn’t even know. I only give advice based off experience. Some things I experienced that my mom never has. I can give her advice that relates more because we’re basically the same age. My mom’s advice comes from the past mostly but to my sister even if our mom has no experience or sound advice our mom will forever be her knows all. I feel bad for her at times because when the time comes when she has to see my mom as a human being like I learned to early on. It’s gonna hit her deep.
