I have a married sister who lives well with her husband. She is not rich but lets say she has a nice house and her hubbie earns good money. On the contrary me my brother and my mom (who is elder and we take care of her) live in the same house we had been living for many many yaers ago, therefore of course our house needs many different repairs but we can't afford to do do repairs as often as my sister we can. Our dad passed awayt 10 years ago and the money we have at the house are the money my dad left my mom. My brother works but he is like an independen contractor who offers his services so if there are no services he can get paid,. His job is unsteady for times he has money and other times he does not have. At this moment im unemployed and it has been hard for me to find a job at this moment. On the contrary my sister has an steady job and she gets paid each month, her husband is a family juidge and a college teacher so yes he earns his money steady too.
Anyway my sister who does no tlive in my house (the house she used to live when she was single) she can't put herswelf in our shoes so what she does always is complain and nag for things we do nto do at home or we do not do the way she expects us to proceed or she wishes we do it. We have money sure to pay rent utilities, food, etc but when it comes to house repairs which requires more money is where we have to choose or see how our budget wil do and also we have to decide the time when we have enough money to repair something, that could take months or even years, depending on the urgency. In my sister house she does not have that problem cause if they have something to be repaired or fix they just call someone for that job at the moment and pay for the service. She says sheunderstand our situation, but still always nag or question how we do things at our house, which she can't speak if she is not in our shoes to understand the situation, for her is easy
She says she does it because precisely for that becuase she does not live in our house to really know what is going on so she is concerned mostly because our mom is an elder woman and she concerns more for her than for me or my brother, so she needs to know things from our house. There are times my brother or myself dont tell my sister things because the minute we tell her, the minute she starts to question, nag again

Hmmmm... Realisation is something that you cannot force upon anyone. Even if you bring the truest of facts in front of people, they'll only listen what they wanna listen.
So, it's unlikely you can make her realise what she's doing wrong.
As to what you can do about it, there's either a blunt, straightforward way where you simply put this across her face that her behaviour actually feels like nagging to y'all. You don't ask her for any monetary help so the least she does is keep her mouth shut.
The other way is give her the silent treatment. Don't respond or react to anything she does. And don't let it affect yourself as well. People hardly change. The only person you can change is yourself. So try and ignore her.
well, she does not need to help you or help financially, that is her and her husbands choice. do not expect help and don't ask. honestly, just ignore her and keep living your life. don't tell her things because she doesn't bring anything to the table such as advice or what to do.
