For you mothers out there, do/have you ever had a hard time trusting the father of your children as a “babysitter”?

I have a friend who’s wife has had a really hard time leaving their children alone with him. My wife was the same with me but I proved to her that I’m excellent with them! What are your thoughts on the subject?

I have four daughters, so there were a lot of “tea parties”. I tried doing things like this but my wife wasn’t too happy.

I think fairly new mothers have a hard time leaving their children, PERIOD! It’s not that they don’t trust the father, it’s just they constantly worry if they’re not with them. Some mothers have a hard time sleeping because something might happen! As you know, I’m not a mother but I did babysit a lot and have an insight into motherhood. Oh, I talked to Wally this morning, he isn’t building a golf course anymore. 😉

I definitely hear that! My wife had an extremely hard time leaving the kid with her own mother! A woman that raised 3 kids. While we were gone, she would constantly call. I think Ted does too much thinking when he’s drunk, then realizes how fucking stupid his ideas are the next day.

You two are sickening! All I say is, “it would be kind of cool to have a golf course in my backyard”, next thing I know, people are saying I got backhoes and earth movers on the way! This is how friendships are destroyed! Is that what you want?

never had that. being a basic parent isn't baby sitting and lesson to all those out there, don't make babies with people you wouldn't trust babies with?
