Does the awareness allow you to improve? Otherwise you might as well pass on being aware.

It is noteworthy that if a person is deemed capable enough to recognize their flaws they are expected to cope with and circumvent them. If one is not capable enough this obligation falls on the people around them.

For similar reasons it is very difficult to be angry with people once you understand their perspective and scope of abilities.
