Do old friends ever come back around with age?

I'm 34 now and I kind of wonder if old friends come back around once they get settled down into their careers and they start to get bored with the monotony of life. I know I'm bored for sure these days. Work isn't really exciting anymore it's just a way of life etc. My parents passed away years ago, so I'm not as big on going to work day in and day out like some people do. You kind of learn that it can all end in an instant and you should take the time to enjoy life. Opinions?

I just had an old friend hit me up on fb saying we should grab BBQ again. I think that was a few years ago and honestly I felt he thought I was boring so I never bothered to ask again.

Yo man it's crazy how fast time flies, ain't it? Feels like just yesterday we was all runnin wild in high school.

I guess some old friends do come back around once things settle down. A lot of people from school started hittin me up again in their late 20s, early 30s. Think once that lifestyle of partying all the time stops bein as fun, folks wanna reconnect with the good times from back in the day.

Work routines do get so borin after a while too. I can feel that for sure. Once you realize how short life really is, you don't wanna waste all your time at some 9 to 5 if you ain't lovin it, ya know?

Maybe shoot some of the old crew a text or search them on social media. A lot of folks are probably feelin the same way bout missin the old days. Who knows, meetin up for a beer could turn into a regular thing and get your fun mojo back. Life's too short to not enjoy the people who used to matter most when you got the chance. Might be worth a shot seein who's up for relivin some memories!
