Why does my auntie treat her side of the family better than ours when nobody did anything to her?

Girl, family dynamics can be so confusing sometimes. A few thoughts on why your aunt may be favoring her side:

- Envy/jealousy of your family - Maybe you all have something she feels she's missing out on like money, looks, relationships etc.

- Feeling left out - Did her side of the fam exclude her growing up in some way that still affects her? Old wounds die hard.

- Favoritism/nepotism - Sadly some people just naturally connect more with blood relatives over in-laws. Biology over bonds.

- Misunderstandings/gossip - Could be beef started over something small that blew up due to he said/she said nonsense.

- Different values/upbringing - How she was raised might clash with y'alls styles so she relates more to her own kin.

I'd say try chatting with your parents about it politely. Coming together with empathy could help solve issues versus cause more drama. Some fam just takes time to warm up to each other's clans too unfortunately :/ Keep your head up sis!
