Isn't it weird for someone to request me on FB 19 years since our HS graduation?

This man was never my friend when we were teens. In fact, when we were in 7th grade, he was a follower and participant of my humiliation. He wasn't the main tormentor but followers are just as guilty to me.

Then in HS, once in a while whenever he would see me on the hallways he would screamed a loud ''ewwwww'' to me in front of others and they would looked at him weird. And now that we're nearing our 40's (I'm about to turn 37), he requests me on FB. He never noticed me when I was in my 20's, in my prime years. Isn't that weird?

This person was never my friend and all of the sudden, he notices me when I'm in my late 30's.

Was that person from the past a kind or mean person? This man was an asshole during our teen years and never acknowledges me when I was in my primes... just notices me now that we're much older.

I still added him because well that was a long time ago but I'm still distrustful. If he chats with me, I'm still going to be careful. If he starts BS, I'm going to tell him straight and give him a peace of my mind.
It shouldn't take so many years to finally find out you've been an asshole to someone. I'm not buying it. Someone noticing you after that long tells me that perhaps they are undergoing someone in their lives but not because they suddenly ''remember you after all these years'' lol.
