it depends on the man or the woman... the person, the individual
I don't usually make it about gender... is just that for some things, either men or women will have more experience, or more insight about such, certain things
Just like Agape and Mandy, I make it dependent on the topic and the person. I ask a male petrol head friend about changing brake discs of my car and my mother or aunt about buying and renovating a house, for example. Not the other way around.
To be honest, it really depends on what’s being asked because there’s just some things that women know that men don’t and vice versa so it really just depends on what question is being asked
It really depends on the individual opinion. I can value a women's opinion just as much as I can value another man's opinion. It doesn't matter to me the gender of who's saying it, if I agree with someone, I agree
I value both equally. You could test your boyfriend. Say an opinion and if he ignores it say some guy said the opinion first (maybe someone he knows) and see if he switch if he does let him know.
I haven't really thought of that. I don't usually ask for advice, unless it's something I don't know about. It's kinda based on who I think has more experience concerning the situation.
Oh. I mean, I suppose I'm more inclined to try to understand women just because i like being around them. But that's more like treating their opinion as entertainment rather than knowledge. With men I tend to do neither, though, so 🤷
i hope you dont mind me asking would you ever think about joining similarworlds site its like gag it would be nice to have someone to talk to on there.
I value everyone's opinion but I follow none. 😅😅 Jk. I tend to incline towards woman for advice regarding emotional matters. On the other hand if it is something practical I need advice with I ask both genders but listen to women only.

For me it's simple. I take advice on face value and weigh up all the options equally. Then pick what seems the best, irrespective of who it came from!
Okay
It depends on the topic. Good looks? Women obviously. Everything else? A guy. But in all honesty, I just rely on the bible the majority of the time.
I generally value both equally... However, depending on the subject/topic there are always going to be occasions when one will outweigh the other.

Okay
I usually go to my close male friends, sister, and mom for advice. I'd say it's pretty even.
Who let you down more by basically giving bad advice?
Probably my sister, but sometimes she surprises me and gives really good advice.
I value both equally. You could test your boyfriend. Say an opinion and if he ignores it say some guy said the opinion first (maybe someone he knows) and see if he switch if he does let him know.
I dont need to test him. I stated above that he only cares when it comes from a guy
alright you do what works best
I’ll just let him be dumb
That's really nice of you😆
When a person won’t listen thats all that can be done. My friends constantly tell me to just go be dumb then lol
You got a point. Or they do I guess. I just meant so he realize it but it doesn't matter lol. It's easier being dumb than intelligent so sounds smart👀
he's so intelligent in the workforce but in his general lifestyle, nope
Well thats life.. can't have it all.
I value my own opinions and the opinions of my family and friends more so than strangers who don’t know anything about me
I haven't really thought of that. I don't usually ask for advice, unless it's something I don't know about. It's kinda based on who I think has more experience concerning the situation.
I value the opinion that makes the most sense and it does not matter who it comes from.
But who would you go to got advice is what im asking
If I think it needs a women's outlook on things I go to my friend Barb. If I need a guys opinion, my friend Gill.
Although, Barb is one of those really knowledgeable people, so I would say I go to her 75% of the time.
I don't generally value opinions. I just kind of try to understand them.
Thats part of what I mean
Oh. I mean, I suppose I'm more inclined to try to understand women just because i like being around them. But that's more like treating their opinion as entertainment rather than knowledge. With men I tend to do neither, though, so 🤷
Men, I guess because for one I am a man, and two, because usually men have more logical opinions rather than emotional ones
I value a person's opinion based on their past experiences, not what sex they are.
Alright

I’ll think on it
@DizzyDesii thank you. do you mind if i still talk to you tonight. was not sure if your busy or something

generally there's no difference for me, except if it's something more gender specific
Always women. Men never know what they are talking about
That’s harsh
I value opinions and different perspectives... the gender of the giver doesn't matter to me
and even if I tend to ask men more often, it's only because most of my friends are men :D
It rather depends on the question, and only rarely is gender a factor.
