YES my god that dude needs to grow up. looking at your age range and assuming he's around the same age as you, i am losing hope that he ever will. yikes. this is a red flag, not knowing why you're with someone but will have a baby with them.

Context is everything.
If you've been pushing out toxicity and indifference and now he's emotionally exhausted, for example, that would be a time to voice something like that.
But maybe you've been as sweet as sugar and he's having an existential crisis. Perhaps he's not handling being a father.
